barely better than feedly

I need this for my day job. After an hour struggling with Feedly and Google News, I decided to splurge the $10 for Leaf.

Relative to other apps, this feels like very little for the money. It has a clunky and non-intuitive UI whose main virtue is “still better than Feedly.” Grrr.

On the plus side, I can track my Feeds. With some effort on my part, it does the minumum.

I don’t understand all the positive reviews. I’m sure this would work if I spent enough hours learning its ins and outs. But is it EASY to set up? No. For context, I have worked in Silicon Valley for more than two decades, so I do know how to operate a computer.
