Before it worked and it was good enough, now it crashes on launch %100 of the time. The app is useless for me now. I used feedly as my feed source. I’m using OSX 10.11.3 on a macbook pro. Get fabric.io for your app and start noticing your crashes!

Really enjoyed Leaf until the last couple of days. It’s currently consistently crashing when I launch it. Uninstalled, reinstalled, mutiple restarts - nothing seems to work. Just won’t run anymore.
Overall, it’s a good RSS reader but I need to be able to sort my folders and fees non-alphabetically as i do with Newsify. Please add the ability to sort folders/feeds non-alphabetically and I’ll revisit my review.. thanks. //edit: I found where i can sort side bar manually. it was obvious but not obvious. oh well, i bumped up my rating.
I am very happy I purchased this app and have no complaints, but a simple request: an icon in the toolbar, for easier access would be lovely.
One thing that made me want to try Leaf is that it allows you to use it as a stand alone app. I don’t want to have to go to another service to get the feeds into my app or add more.
I don’t usually write long reviews - but I do want to say that after years and years of attempting to find the “perfect” RSS reader, I’ve finally found it!
I’ve tried them all, and this one is the best. I love the design, I love the functionality, and I love being able to bring up each story in its original website context. The notifications work great, and the integration with Feedly is huge. That’s actually the primary reason why I started looking for Mac RSS readers. Feedly’s official app is basically nothing but a web wrapper and is actually pretty awful. If you’re trying to decide whether or not to drop the $20 on this, it’s worth every penny in my opinion. Money well spent for a great product.
I’ve been using a different RSS reader for a few years now. I just downloaded this one because it was free for one day so I thought I will try it. Over 1200 ratings with most of them 4 and 5 stars!? I just really don’t see it. It’s an ok app. I don’t like the whole presentation. It’s either a dull white or a dull dark. Really not nice. The service options are limited. The available application options/settings are limited. But it does a basic job.
Leaf is an excellent feed reader with many welcome and unexpected features like sharing options, sync options, and cache retention settings. It’s a five-star app, but I ding it one star for failing to provide a method to manage cookies however the user sees fit.
This app is great! I wish I found this awhile ago. I can create a perfectly taliored new feed from only those site I want. I like all the options you have with it. Simple, clean design. Thanks!
This is a paid app that has a nag window that pops up and asks for a review. Here’s your review. You get one star for taking my $10 and including a nag window.
I thought RSS feeds were dead, so I was pleasently surprised to see and hear about this app. I am very happy with it so far, and glad to see it has an iPhone app that syncs with it.
